SWEET 16 LUAU!

Well...another successful party! We had so much fun with this one. It was a Luau for a "Sweet 16" party. The weather was absolutely beautiful except for the wind that kept blowing the balloon arch across the pool!! We had plenty of food recognizing the Luau theme and we even had a Hula contest! The only catch was that there was a surprise accessory --- a hoola hoop! They had fun doing it and we had even more fun watching. Check out all the pics below, especially the "Tiki Bar" made by my incredibly talented sister!! She also made another amazing cake...be sure to look closely at the topper of the cake. The birthday girl's name is Amber and she made an "A" out of palm trees. So creative!!

Send me some comments or email me if you have a special occasion coming up. I would love to create your event!

Jackson's 1st Birthday

Well this one is a bit late! This was the "COWBOY" party I did for my grandson's 1st birthday in February 2009. We had an indoor RODEO for the small kids that came. In the corral were wooden and plush rocking horses and also some stick ponies for the ones that were big enough to run around and "giddy-up"! They had alot of fun playing! We decorated with red checkered tablecloths and red and blue balloons and COW balloons...talk about cute!! We had a "cowboy style" buffet featuring...hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, slaw, chili, chips, etc. It was a huge success!! My neice painted the backdrop. It was so beautiful...she even named it Jackson's Farm! Wow! What talent!! And check out the cake my sister did...I'm telling you SHE IS AWESOME!!

Grandmother's 90th Birthday

My family surprised my grandmother with a HUGE party on her 90th birthday! There were so many people, some of which traveled a great distance to attend. She was very surprised and a bit overwhelmed. We decorated the room using her favorite color...you guessed it PINK! The family portrait was our gift to her and she absolutely loved it! I have to admit, it wasn't easy getting 30 people together at the same time and wearing the same colors, but it was well worth the effort! She has many "5th generations" among our family and that is me and my mother and daughter and grandson in the picture with her. It was a great day!

My latest creation...wedding reception for Dusty and Mandi. They were married on the beach and, when they returned, I gave them a reception using the colors of her dress and a hint of the beach.
