Winter Wonderland - another spectacular cake by Cathy

Another cake by my sister Cathy. This was for a wedding reception and the theme was "Winter Wonderland".

Molly's Baby Shower

Molly is a personal friend of mine and her closest friends wanted to have a special shower for her newly adopted Claudia Claire! They hired me to do all the work...which I was thrilled to do!

Everything was so "girly" with pink and green polka dots, lots of pictures of the baby and tons of LOVE!

Widow's Luncheon at Cartersville church of Christ

Every year we like to do something special for our lovely widows at church. This year I was hired to cater the event rather than having to travel to a restaurant. For some of the older ladies, traveling out of town is rather inconvenient, so this was the best alternative.

I have to say that I really enjoyed this event! The decorations were giant "gifts" which went along with the theme for the day. The ladies who hosted did a devotional about "the gifts we have been given". Each lady had their choice of Chicken Salad Croissant or Club Sandwich which was served with a fruit cup and chips. The dessert was a gift of delicious treats!! The small white boxes with colored ribbons that you see in the pictures are the desserts. Each person was given their "gift" after the meal. Each package had a chocolate covered strawberry, a lemon truffle, "ooh-lah-lah brownie, and an oreo truffle!

It was truly a WONDERFUL day!
